What a pub. The beer here is the best in the area, and the food is even better. I am a regular and also frequent other places in the village, but this is a great all-rounder. On my last visit I had a fish platter to share with my other 3 guests as a starter, followed by the best steak I've ever had with homemade chips. They do a midweek meal deal which seems popular and the service is always attentive and good. A cracking pub, cant wait for the summer in their garden.

I have to disagree with 2 previous reviews. This cracking little pub is a hidden gem, and the food and service is brilliant, best its ever been. The father/son owners are great guys, and very welcoming.
