The Lodge Inn, Alsager

A simple and effective boozer. Good juke box and friendly punters (unlike a lot of other Alsager pubs).
No frill but no spills either.

The Mere Inn, Alsager

Small, very very smoky. Roll on smoke free pubs - I want to die of alcohol poisoning not cancer from the smoke of others!!
Good but not as good as the hype. One of the barmaids is very good at her job - an example to all.
Great collection of model planes on the ceiling - put your anorack on and name them all if you can!

The Yeoman, Alsager

A good little local boozer. Described by a female friend of mine as a "typical builder's pub". Saturday night's the best with live music and a good mix. One or two lads spend too much time and effort proving how hard they are but that's Saturday nights in small towns for you!
