Saracen's, Hertford

Ware Road's answer to its missing pub.
Redeveloped and modernised, doesnt have the original charm of the beams and open fire pubs but certainly does the trick
The dcor us tasteful and set to a high standard, music is eclectic but sets a lovely mood. Locals are friendly and mix in well. Outside area is pleasant but essentially a tarmac hideaway. Sofa and tables are plush and into the early evening you can catch the last of the sun.
Friendly staff who are extremely welcoming offer a selection of regular bar drinks with some very well served ales. Prices are high (over 3) for ales and cider, you wont feel disappointed as they are poured well and lets face it, Hertford is an extremely expensive town to drink in.

I would recommend a visit to this pub, but if you stay be prepared to empty your wallet. Enjoy
