I was cycling through Datchworth on Saturday afternoon and stopped at the crossroads for a car. Someone bellowed 'w@nker! at the top of his voice and when I looked round, there was a guy in a red vest standing in the doorway of the Plough clutching his beer who then stuck his chest out and shouted 'Come on then!'.
Always looks empty, and with management permitting behaviour like that, it is no wonder.
