The Gipsy Moth, Greenwich

I don't usually comment on any of these sorts of sites, yet I had a crap experience at the Gypsy Moth that led me to it. This is just to say, I've had a look around a few pub review sites and this pub comes off very bad, except for the comments by a taylor35. I suspect this person is either the manager or a friend of the manager, so bear that in mind when reading their comments - they sound like they were written by a advertising company! Make up your own mind about that. Anyway, on to the review.

Me and my mates decided to come down to Greenwich for the day and after walking around for a nice while stopped at the Gipsy Moth as it looked cool. At first things went well, we ordered a few pints and perused the food boards which looked great. Then we tried to order breakfast. Couldn't get any service and when finally we did, we were told we ordered too late (when we first tried to get served, going up to the bar it was 20 minutes before the cut off time but 10 mins after by the time someone came to us). I tried to complain and it started - that rude manager everyone seems to go on about went off on one. This was recently, so no, it is not the old assistant manager. Anyway, we decided to leave but needed the bog before leaving. The toilets were filthy, their was 'brown stuff' all over the seat and the whole thing stank. We were shouted at for trying to take our drinks outside and when my mate Brom went to put his glass down he noticed it was filthy on the bottom inside. Spoiled our day so I wouldn't go there if I was you unless you really need to.
