The Bull, Watton at Stone

Great Country pub with a big roaring fire, lots of real ales and a restaurant as well. The food is very good and reasonably priced although everything is cooked to order so don't go if you're in a rush!

George & Dragon, Watton at Stone

Fantastic pub for food, the best in the area, you'll need to book if you want to sit in the restaurant, however you can just turn up and get a table in the bar, but be warned there are only 11 tables in the bar and they get filled up by about 7.15 so arrive early. It's not cheep but well worth it for a special occassion.

Corn Exchange, Hitchin

This pub has just been renovated and the decor is very nice, it's now called something like Qui Pasa. The food is a very simple menu with lots of snacks, ideal for a lunchtime and very good value as is the beer.
