Now a freehouse with a good range of non-standard beers and lagers. Friendly staff and locals. Quality Indian food server in a pleasant restaurant area, takeaway and delivery also available. Quiz night every Tuesday. Superior live music once a month. Well worth a visit. Friday night is my favourite.

The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest
Friendly but no atmosphere. Beer is good. Not tried the food. Best to visit in summer and enjoy the garden.
