The Jolly Sailors, Brancaster Staithe

This is my favourite pub in this area. Great staff and location. On my visit there were two guest ales (Woodfordes and Wolf Brewery) as well as two from the 'Brancaster Brewery' which I am lead to believe is no longer on site. The two guest were of excellent quality, but although drinkable the Brancaster beers did not seem to have the quality that they had under the previous owners. Perhaps this is the result of getting somebody else to brew your recipe!!. Other than this thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

The Cherry Tree, Peterborough

This pub is great and has become a free house within the past year or so. No brewery ties and therefore an excellent selection of beers and food at a very reasonable prices! Long established Landalord and Landlady. Well worth a visit!

The Blue Bell Inn, Dogsthorpe

Century's old pub with very clean interior. There the good bits end. On my visit the quality of the beer was appalling and the landlady was only interested in talking to her friends. There was a drunk who would not leave me alone and the staff thought it was funny when he nearly fell over. They promptly served him another drink. On a visit previous to this there was a fight. Avoid!
