The Red Barn, Lingfield

I havent visited this place in years and what a dissapointment it has become. Whoever refurbished this pub should be fired. The staff were to be quite frank unpleasant and unhelpful. The food was very expensive and ridiculously small portions. I feel this is one to avoid.

The Barley Mow, Tandridge

Nice little pub lots of parking and the food was very good though a little overpriced. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home and the ale was very good. Worth a return visit.

The Fox And Hounds, South Godstone

What a gem of a country pub. We opened the door and were greeted by a roaring open fire. The staff were very welcoming and the ale was excellant. The portion sizes were huge and accompanied by a selection of fresh vegetables a rareity in alot of pub these days. They claim the food is homecooked and it certainly tasted so. There was a huge variety to choose from and something for every palate at reasonable prices. The landlady apparently does the cooking and when she came out of the kitchen was very charming. We will definately be returning.
