The Volunteer, Sutton Abinger

What a fantastic place, beautiful and scenic to visit on a Sunday afternoon or anytime for that matter. When on my walking trips around Abinger I always make sure to stop by the Volunteer, take off my anorak and enjoy a cold frosty beverage. My wife is particularly keen on the food served and I have to say I agree with her, the menu is fantastic and as a side order I always make sure I have some garlic bread...its the best i've ever tasted. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly, taking time to look after your every need. The landlord is a very community minded chap as well, he has organised many events including a Volunteer cricket team to add to all the fundraising he does for worthwhile charities. Top Marks I say!
