The Squirrel at Hurtmore, Hurtmore
Four of us went to the Squirrel for Mothers day and were very disappointed with the meal. We all had a roast dinner, the carrotts were very hard, the roast potatoes were hard and black on the inside. The yorkshire pudding was over cooked and black as black on the bottom. The cost of a whiskey and ginger ale was over the top at �5 for the whiskey and �4.50 for the ginger ale, making it �9.50 per drink.
All in all to pay �103.00 for the four of us for the meal that we were served was unsatisfactory. The only reason we didn't complain on the day was because my son was paying the bill and we didn't want to offend him.
We certainly wouldn't want to go there again.
