Lovely location and sweet, polite waiting staff BUT "sizzling tiger prawns" were hockey pucks swimming in chilli soup - inedible. Main course was average made poorer by strange, bland vegetables (who decided that it was a good idea to boil the tough green leaves of a leek and serve the result as a main vegetable?). Pavlova was white mush with red sauce and a raspberry- no evidence of texture apart from the pips. What a shame..and a waste of a birthday "treat". Not so long ago the food was great so did I just hit an unfortunate night? I hope so...
