I,ve had many meals in many Mid Sussex pubs, some suprises & many dissapointments. The Half Moon, Warninglid is a suprise tucked not far away from anywhere.
Superb food, warm clean surroundings, friendly staff & not over priced compared to others offering much less. Shame their not open for Christmas day lunch. Looks like the 25th at home again. But an idea for next year please!

The Talbot Inn, Cuckfield
A great contempory local for us. Local beers were three different Dark Stars and Harveys Best. Really good atmosphere. Menu looked good. Don't understand previous comments, once a dirty flee pit now a stunning pub!
