The Victoria, Woodham

This is a great local. It changes hands fairly frequently and the latest management appear to be attempting to turn into a "food-led" pub, having converted half of it into a full service restaurant that's only open for 4 days of the week. It used to be a lot busier and I can't help but think that this strategy has decreased its local popularity as a straight boozer. Nevertheless, it's 5 minutes from my house so I won't stop going there. The staff are friendly and there's some good beer, that's what counts at the end of the day, "dining pub" or no dining pub.
