Visited last night and was very disappointed. Despite two hand pumps there was no real ale and not even any bottled ale. Settled for a pint of Guinness in the end - very poorly dispensed, by a staff member who clearly wanted to be somewhere else. I would avoid this place in the future.

The Charles Dickens, Southwark
A tucked away pub of a very high quality. An excellent range of well kept beers and a congenial atmosphere. My only gripes are the intrusive TV and one unengaging barman, but the barmaid was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

The Union Jack, Southwark
A good social pub. Plenty of comfortable seating, on the ball staff and a decent pint on London Pride.
