The Albion, Winchester
The Albion is sophisicated without being pretentious. One of the few places were a Rasta can been seen playing chess with a little old lady. It has an excellent selection of real ales, kept very well, featuring quarterly guest ales. The service is of a high standard, and the female bar staff are also a visual treat! Food served lunchtime is good hearty fare. The excellent wine list, mellow jazzy music, and interesting mix of cilentele make this my favourite pub, Jim.
