The Birdcage, Bethnal Green

I have been going to this pub now for over a year and this is the only pub in the east end that is worth going to. As soon as you walk in the Landlord makes a point to come and say hello and always remembers who you are. The pub has got a very friendly atmosphere, its customers are a good mix of locals, yuppies, young people and artisans.. The bar staff are very friendly and comical. Weekends are always busy and if this pub was once struggling it certainly isn't anymore.The pub offers nights of Karaoke,Country and Western and a DJ. Pool and darts on offer as well as Sky sports.I was in there last night for monday club karaoke and it was not only busy but a very entertaining night. If you haven't been here you must go.
