Nice pub. good food and drinks etc.

Went for comedy night but could only describe it as Communist night.

The compare warned everyone not to do anything other than laugh basically.

Its the second time ive been here under duress I may add., Its dire and for the unfunny types who will sit through any rubbish without a thought in their tiny minds believing that this was entertainment.

Beware!!! hecklers will be shot

The Nelson Arms, South Wimbledon/Colliers Wood

My apologies for not posting earlier.
As I was working in London some time ago, I stumbled upon this lovely old traditional boozer. Not the run of the mill gastro pubs that have killed all the real haunts off.
The beer is fresh as its turned over quickly.
The ambience is lovely with all walks of life, from the lads who compete on PS3'S PES10, to the open mike nite on Thursdays. Superb sporting coverage for all Footie/Rugby & Boxing heads

Great service with a lot of thought put into the menu which is SIMPLY FANTASTIC. Cleaver Tapas menu beautifully presented. Great rib eye steaks. knock out sunday roasts. All to many to mention but the flavours still remain in my mind.

As I said to the owners Amit and Kel I'm no pretentious foodie I just love good food. This place should be rebuilt in South Bristol at the end of my street. I hope the new year continues to be a great sucess for you both.
