This is my favourite pub in Bristol, conveniently near my house! Love the cosy old pub atmosphere. Good beer and excellent wine selection sampled by friendly locals and served by very friendly landlord and landlady. Nice and warm in winter with the fire going, will probably have a valentines drink there this evening; see you there

The Crown Inn, Churchill

This is a proper old English pub, no pretensions just good beer, decent wine selection and excellent simple food; try the beef sandwich yum. My favorite pub in the southwest
