Yet another Hazel Grove pub that is full of scallies every Friday and Saturday night. Haven't been in the week so can't comment, but avoid like the plague at weekends !

The Phoenix, Hazel Grove

Formerly known as the George and Dragon, which was officially the scalliest pub in stockport. Its now had a refurb and gone no smoking. However it still has the same bar staff and some of the old scallies still frequent. For a pub specialising in witherspoons type food it is quite poor.

Browns, Hazel Grove

A place trying to be a trendy bar but failing miserably at every turn. Its to light inside the seating arrangements are terrible and the drinks selection is straight from a 1980's pub. The fact it only seems to attract 40's - 50's locals who think they have a bit of money (and haven't) says it all.
