Usually plays decent music, has no smoking room downstairs (pah). Interesting mix of people but usually friendly enough

The Three Greyhounds, Soho

I don't know about the last comment, we managed to spend an entire evening there and got suitably pissed. Compared to the other pubs nearby this is a pretty good bet for a decent pint and some olives.

The Green, Islington

Nice place, apart from the huge mirrors. Fairly pricey, but then this is Islington!
