The Eagle Inn, Abbotts Ann

This pub changed hands almost 20 months ago, and since then it has become one of the most sought out village pubs in the area for Real Ale. Staff are really friendly and Alan and Kate the landlords have almost single handedly brought the village back to life. Beer is always good and we attended the beer festival in June and was impressed by the range of Real Ales on offer. There are 4 Real Ales on at any time with Betty Stoggs being the permanent one. Food is available on all days apart from Tuesday and Sunday Evenings. Sunday Roast thoroughly recommended at a bargain price and they currently have a good range of Tapas food available as well as curry's and other traditional pub favourites. Worth a detour just off the A303, recommended.
