Cherry Tree Inn, Tintern

The Cherry tree in Tintern has reopened and what a great pub it is, with a selection of real ales including guests. The multi-level inn is well worth a visit and the food is top notch.

The Rose and Crown, Tintern

I have been staying in Tintern for 6 weeks and as I am in a Hotel, visit all the village pubs on a regular basis. So far The Rose and Crown has most impressed me. The landlord and chef Dave serves up great food and real sizzling steaks, you can hear them arriving. Two good real ales and plenty of cold fizzy choice also. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
