The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz
This is a beautiful pub in a stunning little Dorset village, not far from the main road, and well worth the effort.
It's an old building next to the millstream - a very quaint atmosphere. The food is excellent. We ate in the cosy restaurant, where the menu included Seafood Tagliatelle, local Venison, and other interesting dishes. The bar menu was more traditional "pub food", but all home-cooked, with a good choice.
Really friendly too.
