The Kings Arms, Ninfield

I went with a group of friends (2 guys 4 girls) as the normal pub we go to has stopped doing food. It may be a carvery, but you have to decide wether you'd really want to eat there. Its cheap. thats about all I can say. We sat in an alcove, and every stained and sticky chair was different. I think they have been visiting bootfairs for the furniture. We had to swap chairs with others to find some reasonable ones. The table was a breeding ground for scientific experiments. Two of us decided not to eat, the girls did, and I think those that didnt eat won the battle. The girls only ate half the food, the food had obviously been there for ages. I dont want to knock the people eating there, but those that do are most obviously on benefits and go there because its cheaper than cooking at home. In all honesty, we would have had a better time eating in the cowsheds up the road. They would have been cleaner and certainly the food would have been more palatable. Oh yes, and to top it all, the fridge was broken so all the bottle drinks were warm, and there was no ice in the place. The bar person had to go and find some cold one's "out the back".
