absolutely terrible terrible female manager there. Rude and obnoxious. We had a function there which we had obviously paid a lot of mony for a company barbeque. Bread went to some tables and not others, when we asked for some bread she practically screamed at me that it wasnt her resopnsibility to share bread amongst us all. % minutes later she chucked some bread onto our table that she had scraped off some tables. It got worse from that point really. She gave us dirty looks and couldnt cope whatsoever with a group of 80.

The food was crap too.
Shame really as it looks very nice from the outside.

The Hawley Arms, Camden

a lovely pub,it has a really personal and amiable feel, created partly by the barstaff who have personalities, brains and oh yes wit which is a bit of a rarity these days. Very unpretentious and great atmosphere.The food is great and has a nice range of prices to fit all wallets. You have to rate somewhere that sells jelly babies in jars.
It has style too and the ladies is filled with lots of interesting articles and pictures for us to look at whilst we are waiting!Love the log fire too.
