The Crispin, Ashover

Well ive read steve2905 comments on the Crispin at Ashover and ive visited it on Saturday evening with a party of 3 others and had a great evening of good ale comprising of Oxford Gold, Cockerhoop, Pedigree and Cumberland and the food was as usual when visiting the pub to the highest standard considering the circumtances, The landlord Andy was buried the day before having been ill for several months previous and passing away on New Years eve and the whole of the staff being affected for several weeks as it is a family enviroment the staff take and it's hit all of them as you could tell. Shame you didn't ask steve instead of being inconsiderate with your feelings when the landlady young as she is with her kiddies and the landlord being in his early 40s and them needing support especially now. Sorry but im sure if you revisited now things have re-settled down you might find normallity reigns at the Crispin.
