The Anchor, Ripley

A group of ten of us, all aged above 50, decided to visit the Anchor on Ripley High Street on Sunday 23/6/13 at 19.30 hrs. The barman was unable to complete the first drink because he ran out of lemonade, we then asked what ales he had and he said that he had just sold the last available pint. We thought he must be joking but no he had no beer at all.
There was no apology for this so we went to find a proper pub.
Needless to say we will not be visiting this pub again
