The Lower George Inn, Gloucester

WHAT has happened to this place !!!!

I was last here in summer last year and the place was buzzing ! GREAT beer, GREAT people and FRIENDLY barstaff.
ALL that has gone now and its gone downhill right to the bottom.
it's fully of football chanting Wetherspoons rejects and is UNPLEASANT. As a biker i felt REALLY unwelcome.
Barman was totally ignorant and the stella was sour but he wouldnt change it. Said that it tasted ok to him and handed it back after dribbling in my glass !
I had lunch and sent it back 'cos it wasn't even warm. maybe the microwave broke down ?
This is one pub that sadly i only have happy memories of how it used to be. AVOID
