I had a absolutely disgusting experience in this place and will never return,after just coming out of hospital and recovering from knee surgery i went to use the disabled toilet downstairs as the main toilet is situated on the second floor and you must go up two sets of stairs,i was told by a young ignorant member of staff that i wasn't disabled and had to use the upstairs toilet,i left my drink obviously unattended on the bar and proceeded to the upstairs loo,it took me an age to return,upon which my drink had been removed from the bar,a lady sat near said she watched the young girl remove my drink which was nowhere near empty,when i complained it had gone she categorically denied touching it even though the lady backed me up,i was told i couldn't have another not only on the house but at all because i had complained too much,i was only two days out of hospital and up until then 8 of us were celebrating my Grandchilds birth,my Daughter also complained on my behalf but was met with a stone wall resistance,we had already paid for our meal and were offered no refund,we left in disgust at the pubs attitude in defending this one young girls ignorance,vowing never to return and inform all family and friends of the same,i have since been told many similar stories about the place and the fact that staff want fewer customers in so less work to clean up,but i will add this the food that we had just been served looked and tasted nice but we left with a v bitter taste in our mouths.
