The Almamata, Egham

Visited this pub again last week and still impressed. As mentioned very friendly efficient service and food above the normal Egham 'pub food' - best thing about the pub although may be fairly quiet on certain evenings it is 'chav free' and hope remains that way.

No connection to Red Lion eghamlocal lol - would hardly praise another pub if, I were. Few lunches, I have had in Monkey Forehead always been excellent and well above Red Lion in presentation and quality.

Had sunday lunch there recently and was one of best roast beef lunches. I have ever had. Only problem unless you are a sports fan best to time your visit before or after premier matches or if weather good can sit outside.
