The Griffin, Carlisle

Although this pub is on the circuit on a Saturday and gets really busy, the beer is excellent with two guest ales. The food we had was excellent and good value @ 2 for �8.

The Market Porter, Borough

the only draw back to this great pub is that it can get very crowded. they have an excellent range of real ales that are frequently changing and are always kept in great condition. the staff are friendly and helpful.
