The George And Dragon, Alrewas

Stopped here twice during canal holiday on the Trent and Mersey. Both times we were warmly welcomed and well served when we wanted to mix and match items from the extensive menu. Great value food. Good vegetarian choices and the Mushy Peas were to die for. Oh, and the beer was good too

Green Man, Willington

Spent enjoyable evening eating and drinking before taking canal boat back to the Mercia Marina, closeby. Reasonably priced food, and large portions, especially if you order a side order of chips !!
