The Church House Inn, Stokenham

We stumbled across this pub on a recent visit to south devon.Despite arriving without a reservation on a busy school holiday evening we were sat promptly and without fuss. The food was excellent (the rib eye steak was cooked perfectly as was my wifes scallops) and not over priced. There was a small but good selection of local hand pulled ales and a lovely beer garden. Service was excellent and when i next visit south devon i will definately go back

Victoria Inn, Salcombe

We recently ate at this pub on a visit to Salcombe and had the worst meal of our stay there. If you are into speed dating then go here to enjoy speed dining 3 courses in under 45 minutes. The best thing about the food was the chef really knew hw to use a microwave as everything appearred to come out of one after been re heated. The "highly recommended " Clam Chowder was simply appalinng and the other meals were complimented with masses of chips .
Please avoid this place at alll costs .
