The Beehive, Tottenham

went to the refurbished pub a few weeks ago. What a treat. Its not cheap, but the beers are great and they'll give you a taste if you like. Its enormous inside and you can find a quite spot inside or out(there's a big terrace, which is part covered. Great atmosphere, lots of proper old fashioned chat going on. You could bring your hot date or your granny here and would be sad to leave at the end of the evening.

The Salisbury, Harringay

I have started going to this pub lately and it is the best in the area. Decent beer, good Guinness, busy but helpful staff and quite decent food(for a pub) I prefer the many excellent and cheap restaurants in the area for food, but this is one of the few grand Victorian pubs around and a beautiful place it is.

The Wishing Well, Palmers Green

I think some posters here have been harsh or maybe the pub has improved since then. I go to this pub for the football and there are also many Irish sports on tv here. I find the staff friendly and good at the bar, rather like a regular pub in Dublin ie they remember your round straight away. On a busy Saturday with Premier League and Gaelic games going on it is hectic, but the clientèle are friendly and there is no bother. The busy staff hand round snacks galore. I have heard lots of Polish spoken and also native Gaelic spoken as well. This is a pub for the sports and Guinness fan and it does that well.
