The Strands Hotel, Nether Wasdale

Been coming here for the last seven years since John and Becky were managers.

Now under new management and what a change for the better thats been. Great food, brilliant craic. great people.

As previously posted Mark and Lesley are doing a fantastic job and Mark's home brewed IPA is out of this world.

Went there with my brother on my stag night and had a seriously great time. Kudos to all the staff for being so friendly and hospitable to us all.

The Dacre Arms, Lee

I found this place by accident when looking for a new flat in Blackheath. "Looks like a nice little boozer" I thought as I drove past.

I wasn't wrong. For the first time in my life I'm a regular in a pub.

The Dacre is best summed up as a village pub without a village. Friendly regulars, all ages and backgrounds, all getting on together and creating a really great atmosphere.

Hats off to Terry, John and the rest of the staff for making this the best little juicer in south-east London.

Check out the informal "library" set up by the locals along the wall in one of the booths!
