The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

I like this pub, nice ambience and great location. The food is decent, but the Sunday lunch is just all right.

I love the Special Reserve cider on tap--well worth the trip.

The King Arthur, Glastonbury

This place changed a lot when new ownership took it over a few years ago--sounds like it has changed hands once again? It's always been a favorite pub of mine in Glasto; nice mix of people, great cider selection! I loved all the fresh ciders and scrumpies available...so the cider is no more? That is a shame...

The Riflemans Arms, Glastonbury

I love this place; unpretentious and normally out of sight of tourists...of course I am only a repeat visitor, not a resident, so maybe I shouldn't knock the tourists. Nice beer selection, love the fireplace, the only place that would improve it is some nice hot food in the evening.
