The Barrowboy and Banker, London Bridge

A very decent Fulllers pub, very busy on both my visits. The food exceeded my expectations. Interesting to see Franzikaner wheat beer on draft. The Fullers Chiswick was tip-top. Loved the painting of the "Charge of the Scots Grey's" by Lady Butler above the bar! Another great bank conversion pub.

The Rake, London Bridge

I'm amazed by some of the negative comments about this great little bar- yes its expensive, but it offers a really excellent range of bottled beers & some very interesting changing stuff on the taps. No wonder some previous posters dont rate the Rake if they dont like Brewdog- but im sorry, Brewdog is possibly the finest & most innovative brewery in the country, so get over it! One of the "must do" places on any trip to the capital.

The Falcon, Clapham Junction

Impressive heritage pub just a minutes walk from Clapham Junction station. A vast traditional bar features a large range of hand pulls, I think there were eleven beers on when I visited early on a Tuesday lunchtime, & that was with several turned round. Tried the local Sambrooks Wandle, wasnt impressed tho, that could be the beers not my type rather than the pub doing wrong... definitely worth a revisit.
