The George, Eton

Me and my boyfriend went in here on Saturday afternoon for some lunch.When our food arrived my boyfriends burger was bloody in the middle.We complained and the waitress said she would get another one for him.5mins later a waiter came to us and said the chef couldnt cook it properly as burgers cant fully cook!! my boyfriend said to leave it,once id finished my food as iwas already halfway thru my hard jacket potato we asked for the bill,iexplained to the waiter that our lunch was ruined and i ended up eating on my own,and ithought my boyfriend shud at least be offered his drink on the house,(a coke i might add!!!)with that the waiter(who was french and seemed confused frm what i was saying)got a manager(supposedly) He was very rude to us my partner said we will never eat there again,on that his reply good, dont, i dont care!!! (customer service at its best)he walked off leaving the french waiter with us who then started saying"if you order something that cant be cooked properly you cant expect not to eat it!".We cud not believe this remark as we have never eaten a hamburger with blood dripping out of it!! Eventually the "manager" returned saying he spoke to the "manager" and we could just leave the bill!!! That food was awful the staff are rude, and have no customer service skills at all,shame as the pub is in a nice location they just need to be more fussy on who they hire to work there!!!!!
