The Washington, Belsize Park

The Wash used to be the best pub in the area but sadly it has been going downhill steadily. On every visit in the last 6 months all pints have been short-filled. At first I thought this was due to poorly trained staff but as this is also done by the landlady it is clear that it has become policy.
Staff do not seem to enjoy working there, service is hopelessly random and as this is a Mitchell and Butlers pub the menu is rather dreary and never changes. Although to be fair, the food is generally well prepared (as long as the bar staff remember to deliver it to the table).
Overall the pub has gone from a friendly, welcoming place to one where you stop occasionally for a drink (hoping in vain that it has improved) before heading off to somewhere better such as the Duke of Hamilton in Hampstead.
