The Morpeth Arms, Pimlico

Why have they changed this pub? It was a lovely old boozer. I always used to pop in when going to the Tate. Now ruined with new furniture, a clone makeover and the most expensive food menu you can imagine. Nearly �9 for some camembert? You must be joking... Sad times � leave it well alone.

The Maid of Muswell, Muswell Hill

Not a bad pub really. You must consider what else is on offer before being too harsh! I know it's costly and a bit unusual inside, but the staff have always been pleasant enough to me. It is my local so I do tend to go because it's closest to the house! Good selection of beers and wines, clean interior and plenty of outside seating; covered and heated for smokers if wet or cold. Food isn't that great but it seems popular enough. Overall I suppose it's pretty average... but I�ve had some good nights there. The Famous Royal Oak is far superior mind.

The Sekforde Arms, Clerkenwell

I like The Sekforde Arms. A traditional pub in an area where many of the drinking establishments are ladened with Clerkenwell idiots. There is of course a time and a place for the trendy booze halls, but this is a great getaway! It's old fashioned and bog standard; which is sometimes just what you want. I tend to escape here when my locals get too busy with those that think they are trendy or young...
