The Kings Arms, Mayfair

Oh, and no hand dryers in the toilets...

The Kings Arms, Mayfair

Stumbled across here on Tuesday and has a very comfortable ye olde style, especially upstairs.
Fish and chips were very good, though only had the large option for a tenner. Large? More a normal size.
Green King IPA was ok, and gin and tonics made the right way.
Staff very good and attentive. Will go back.

The Greyhound, Wembley

Regarding the below post, it may well have been myself who told of the 4 pint of coke. Then again, with the number of kids attendng the match on Saturday for England U16 I think alot of dads will have been complaining. No wonder the barmaid didn't state the price when I handed over a tenner. I was expecting paper in my hand but recieved two one pound coins for two cokes!
The air conditioning unit was leaking with no sign that anybody gave a dam, nor a bucket, as the constant drips just soaked into the carpet and let out a stench.
Barstaff were poor in attitude, and you know something is wrong with a pub when at 12:45 you have full on door staff.
Also stated outside the 'Friendliest pub in Wembley'. Considering you can;t afford to get drunk, may well be true.
An altogether scruffy, dodgy, cheap (decour I mean), unnatractive, overly expensive local drop out hang out.
Stay well clear. Actualy, stay well clear of Wembley.
