The Roadhouse, Covent Garden

Haven't been here for some time as it was beginning to look shabby however, was 'forced' to go there for a friends birthday party and what a fantastic suprise to find the place was totally rejuvinated.It looked great, the staff were fantastic, this included the very polite doormen. The offers on food and drink were very resonable, almost too cheap and the entertainment was really good with a band that went on about 10.30 sandwiched between 2 very good djs playing classic tunes from the last 3 decades. Can't remember the last time i had such a good night, really nice to find a fun alternative to the 'meat market' or pretentious bars that have saturated the London market.
