The White Hart Hotel, Cricklade
This pub has a bit of an identity crisis - the exterior and menu suggest a rather nice quality hotel, but the interior is a traditional pub, a bit dark, and it's not clear when you are through the door where you should go. No wonder the landlord commented 'I've had people coming in all day, turning round and going out'.
Poor people, they have missed a treat. The food here is excellent, and portions are generous. Sadly, the only cider appeared to be Strongbow.
A friendly place, pity about the identity crisis.
