The Ship and Anchor, Ford

Have just returned from spending the bank holiday weekend at the Ship & Anchor campsite. Hard to believe some of the previous comments are about the same pub? I found the lady running the pub (Joy) to be pleasant, happy & extremely helpful, probably more than I'd experienced in most pubs I've been in (& that's quite a few!). I'd agree, the food & the beer are priced a bit high - but the quality was good. I'm a real ale drinker - which is something that a lot of pubs can get seriously wrong, not here though. As i say, apart from the prices I'd thoroughly recommend this place (& the campsite).
