BIG Pasties, friendly staff. Landlord likes live gigs and live beer so plenty of choice of both. First pub I ever found a pint of Sharp's. Easter weekend challenge, to taste a pint from each hand pump! Find a B&B very close to save on the taxis.
I've been welcomed on foot, in a car, on a bike and on a horse and with my dear old mum ("What'll you hav' my flower?"). Good stop/start or rest if you are travelling the Great Flat Lode Trail.
Summer, Sunday, with the papers, sat out front looking out over St Ives Bay in the distance, having had a walk over Carn Brea, a pint of Directors or 6X, my cup is full and too soon empty and then it is Monday.
