The Horseshoe Inn, Levisham

We visited this pub at 9 p.m. last Tuesday. The lights were on and there were people inside, but the door was locked! Nobody took any notice of our knocking at the door although we could see they knew we were there. We used to visit the Horseshoe often in the past, as you could be sure of a good meal and a good pint. Families, locals and walkers were always there when we called in. Is "not answering the door" worse than "appalling service"?? There was definitely "no room at the Inn" for us.

The Bramley Inn, Bramley

Went there for Sunday Lunch. The food was very good and reasonable prices.
The service was excellent and staff very polite and helpful. However, furnishings are shabby and the whole place smells of smoke. Not suitable for disabled as steps to front door. You can go in via the back door without steps. No disabled WCs.
