I must agree. This was a very nice pub. The beer was good, a nice selection of ales on tap (6 if i remember correctly, 3 of which were guest ales). The food was very good no nonsense pub food (try the chicken cumberland pie if its on, very nice). The layout is traditional non tarty pub with some quiete nooks to talk with your mates in. All in all very good.

The Cock and Bull, Sutton

Nice enough place, nothing special. They have the normal fullers range , but the beer always tastes a bit funny. Since the refurb its nicer inside, especially round the back bit, but the rest is a bit too open. Shame the beer is dodgy because the food is excellent.
