I did my diploma in lager in Bath between 1994 and 1999 where I learned that drinking a pint in every pub in Bath is not only possible but should be activly encoraged. I moved to Southampton to study real beer but was hampered by the lack of decent venues for my reasearch, that has all changed now and so'ton boasts many fine watering holes. I took a year out from my reasearch and moved to Jersey where beer was toppled from the top slot by working in a bar and pulling the local surfing chicks, which was fun.

Now residing in a small country town I have started my my post grad studies with great enthusiasm and try to update BITE whenever I am not down the pub.

Real beer is real life, cider is for giggles and a good pub is like a good mate.
