Southern Cross, Watford

Not my favourite pub because it seems more like a place to go to eat but strangely the real ale is the best and most varied in Watford. I say strangely because there is no obvious landlord/lady running the bar when I go there but somebody obviously knows their stuff..
It's better to go in a group I find..

The Estcourt Arms, Watford

Nice family run pub with no pretensions beyond serving good beer and providing decent service. Long may it thrive..
